Description

Vintage Kodak Camera Hawkeye Originally released in 1922, this Eastman Kodak No. 2 Film Pack Hawk-Eye was built to use 520 film packs. As film packs had very little to offer over the extremely popular roll-films, this camera is one of a few ever made to support the format. The all-metal camera has a meniscus lens, a rotary shutter and two reflecting viewfinders. The shutter is firing, but the small mirrors in the viewfinders have some resilvering. Due to the lack of 520 packs, the camera hasn’t been tested with film. The leather handle was replaced by string at one time. A sticker is still on part of the top but could be removed. A lovely camera for a vintage collection or display. I don’t know much about this camera only that’s its been in my cedar chest for over 45 years. I had a small collection which I now need to find homes for as I am 70 plus years old. Thanks for taking the time to review this camera. Message me with questions through EBay before purchasing. Thanks for taking the time to look at this vintage camera.
